Yah you would just have to get the right measurements and have the too eyelets welded on for your connection pins, IMO i think that would gain some clearance for sure and make it a lot stiffer. Do you use your bucket quite often BigBros??

IMO it would give you plenty of clearence, but the purpose of the leaf spring is to lock up your front end so that the weight of your load is not on your front suspension, this is the exact reason I bought this system, because I knew my quad was going to be used mainly for work and I wanted it to last as long as possible. The system itself is designed to put as minimal stress on the bike as possible. The leaf spring takes the weight of the load, this is why when you load your bucket with 250 lbs, the front of your wheeler stays level and doesn't sag, and the support bar that is bolted to your hitch, takes the brunt of any impact, transferring the energy to your hitch in the same manner as if you were pulling a load. Attaching the system to your plow set up to gain some clearence could prove to be more costly in the end!

I concur Arctic Hunter, Using mine the only real indication I have a good load is heavier steering and it has less traction in the rear.

Polaris500Sportsman, I used it a good bit this spring, moving Compost, MAking new stuff, pulling it off the pile and running the finsihed compost through a home made sifter, Cleaning the barn out, and moving some gravel/rock. Once temps started staying around 90 plus it was really too warm to work the quad like that and a lot more fun to ride otherwise, so I pulled the mount frame off.

I will need to put it back on this fall to get some other stuff done, but the quad isn't as much fun to ride and the ground clearance is really low.

Bigbros Farmtoys it seems like since I bought the bucket I find more and more uses for it. From moving compost, dirt, gravel, and leveling rough ground out. I can see though how working in hot weather can be hard on the quad working it with the bucket on.
