Default 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 help

I am going to look at a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 that is for sale for $2500. The guy says that it needs a $60 base gasket. Does anybody know what he would be referring to?

usually if it is blowing smoke it is a head gasket or a warped head, white smoke is coolant leaking into combustion chamber, blue smoke is oil getting into combustion chamber, usually caused by bad or broken rings or a scored cylinder.
