Yea I like the new 66 new Lock and Ride features it supposed to have now, wonder
what all of those will be. Ohh BTW, I find out from Dirt Wheels mag, that this is just a new
upgraded model, they are still making the former style too.

I was simply indicating that this new model didn't replace the FORMER SP models design however its
a new added model. Make sense?

Respectively,

Come on Shank, what R is saying is that the new xp models is not replacing the regular sportsman 500 and 800 models. There is not different lines of the xp model other than the xps models.

I am also glad they still kept the regular models. I want to buy that 800 but I'm gonna try and get an 07, or 08 leftover cause I wanna get another stealth to match the 500 we already have.

The XP 550 EFI list price is only $500 more than the 500 EFI. I want one bad but I'm afraid of first year models. I don't want to be one of the guinea pigs that has to figure out what's wrong with it.

I have been the guinea pig on the 03 Predator, and the 06 Hawkeye. The Predator treated me well many have complained about it but I had no troubles and really like it. Know the Hawkeye was a different story but I think with the right dealer it would have been corrected and I would have been happy with it.

I want an 800 and dont think I'll be able to afford the 850. As for you JF I would go and ride that 550 and take your chances. If you get another 500 then find out that the 550 is awesome you'll be bummed out. I say go for it!!
