Default Scrambler 500 shaft output leak

Anyone know if the Scrambler 500 output shaft is common to leak? I have started to see a few drops of trans fluid under my quad after it sits for a while.... I think it is coming from the shaft seal on the output front shaft on the trans case. Do you have to take the trans out to change this seal if that is what is bad? Or can you just take it out the front if you take the foot brake out of the way? Or should I be looking somewhere else for a leak?

Thanks, good Idea with the dye. Do you know if that is a seal that goes out often?
