Hi guys I have a chatter noise and feeling under acel seems to be in rear drive my inner cvs have a lot of up-down play my 07 doesnt. The local dealer says its the splines in trans and a shaft between them. They told me about 900.00 in parts. But I cant seem to see these parts on either the parts or service illustrations Thanks for any input

Could be cv or plunging joint excess wear causing noise. DONT really have transmission problems on the 500 unless severely abused.

I have tried to remove plunge joints from trans but wont release. From what I can see these are like a car you just pop them out with a bar. What am I doing wrong or am I just giving in to easy

Use penetrating oil,HEAT,HEAT HEAT,jerk back and forth rapidly! eventually will pop out. May have to do several times if has been in quite a while as splines become rusty and try to weld themselves in the tranny! Good luck

Are the plunge joints available aftermarket. And if so are they good or junk.
