I can't find any info about this machine. There's one for sale by my house for $1900 I haven''t gone yet to look at. Any experts know what the guy has? Did Polaris make an Xplorer 500?

 

COULD it be a 97 model,Last year of explorer 500? Look at recoil housing engine number sticker,first two numbers designates year model. Plus it will have u-joint driveshafts,not cv driveshafts. Only real problem area. Explorer 400 2-stroke made several years after 97. Could he be talking about a 400?
