It's very possible that she doesn't know what she has. I still believe Caveat Emptor should be applied here.

 

Craigslist is riddled with ATV scams. Alot of times they want you to wire them a deposit, other times they claim that a 3rd party COMPANY is handling the transaction because they are overseas but the ATV is in the states. They stoop so low as to say they are a deployed service member sometimes. Anyway supposedly the third party company will ship the machine to you, which requires pre-payment. They try to reassure the buyer with a full money back guarantee and the protection of this supposed tird part company if the machine isn't as described.....run far and run fast. lol
Unfortunately some people probably fall for it. They probably wouldn't continue the scams if someone didn't fall for them.

Over half of them claim to be deployed servicemen -- BULLS**T SCAMBAGS, and yeah the ole' "We'll use a 3rd party broker company" is just about the most popular one going right now.
