no power 03 600 sportsman??

i drove it and turned it off and thats it done no power to the ignition and i have no electrical skills any help?? where do i start??

Start first and check your battery to be sure it has 12 volts as well as the terminals for corrosion

did you check to make sure the kill switch isnt turned off or defective

Take the wires off the selenoid which is under the left rear fender, tighten the nuts under the battery wires then replace the wires, I;ve seen the inner nuts loose on several causing problems.

i checked those the dealer is tellin me its the stator??

Has the Ducati coil pack,notorious for failing! Is dealer sure?

well they werent for sure i found it it was the wire that runs from the solenoid to the ignition it was broke inside the rubber and it wasnt burnt?? thanks for everyones help it is very much appreciated!!!
