I didn't realize that either. So the tranny ans diff are one piece?

 

I'm not sure about all others but my 08 500 HO the tranny and diff are one piece when you change the tranny oil your changing the rear diff also or vise versa .

 

The 08 800 HO rear diff isn't part of the tranny.
