We define Sport and Utility Quads by what they can't do. The Raptor is a wonder because it has reverse! That a Sportsman can be jumped a couple of feet is equally wondrous from the other side of the fence. A Sport can't back up, carry anything, negotiate rocky, muddy, deep water terrain, is less comfortable and more difficult to ride, gears, handling etc. But will jump higher and go faster.
A utility can't keep up with the sports on the hot trails, tracks, dunes etc. Whatever you do don't jump one or something is sure to break 'cause their so damn heavy.
Well who made up these rules anyway??
How about a Quad that can really do it all? Okay,
the Polaris Scrambler 400 is a good start, but let's go ALL THE WAY!! A True SPORT/UTILITY QUAD!! 450 lbs. 600cc+ 5-valve,liquid cooled, 4x4 with 4-wheel independent suspension, 4 sets of A-arms, Auto with hi/lo/reverse or 6 speed+Reverse. Chain drive to back diff for weight savings and easy gear/sprocket changes, Fuel Injection, altitude compensating, Oxygen sensor. California Approved, Floorboard/footpeg/nerfbar combo.
Great speed, great ground clearance, great handling and power. High tech parts and materials keep weight down. Chrome Moly or Aluminum frame
What couldn't it do???

fourlix
How can you call it a utility and it doesn`t even have racks. Put a rear rack on it for the same price and I`ll take one, for now.
For that price it can`t be American made.
All in good fun.
