Polaris Gears

How many gears does a 05 Polaris Sportsman 500 Have? I Understand its automatic but haw many gears does it change through? Thanks

Polaris Gears

does'nt shift no sportsmans do.CVT Continuosly Variable Transmission engine is kept at a constant rev.Does have high and low gears though.

Polaris Gears

No gears at all, but High and Low range are each like 1,000 gears so close you can't feel it shift between them.
