2005 Polaris ranger starter will not stop turning. Unit is off and key is out--had to disconnect battery to get it to stop. Starts turning whenever battery is reconnected. Is this a problem in the ignition switch?

Probably. You may have moisture on the contacts closing the circuit inside the switch. Or, it could be a stuck starter solenoid, which is what sends current to the starter. Clean all contacts with WD-40 or similar. I don't think it's the pushbutton, unless the starter ordinarily turns over with the key off.

I disconnect switch from vehicle and starter still turns when battery is connected. I think I found the starter but where is the solenoid?
