MY SPORTSMAN WILL NOT STAY CHARGED AND THE RPMS ARE NOT SHOWING? CAN SOME ONE TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO TO GET THE RPMS TO SHOW AGAIN.. ALL OTHER INDECATORS SHOW. (TIME, SPEED ECT.)

 

Could be just battery wont hold charge(how old is it?usual life about 3 years depending on how maintained) Or may not be charging(should be 14-14.5 volts while running) Possible speedo internal problem/ First disconnect all power at battery,see if speedo works correctly? Other members may have had same problem,may give better advice! Good luck

 

THANKS FOR THE REPLY.. WELL THIS IS A NEW BATTERY. WEL THOUGHT THAT WAS ALL THAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. BUT THATS NOT IT.. THE BIKE IS A 2007. THE RPM JUST SHOWS 0 AT ALL TIMES..

 

have you checked all the fuses and stuff

otherwise i'd guess it was something in the spedo

 

All the fuses where fine but we changed those anyways.. Do you know what we can do if it is the spedo? Is that something we should take it in to get worked on or is it something we can do at home? Thanks for your time..
