Default I need help with electical problem

I have a 03 sportsman 500 ho. It runs fine but when it warms up all the lights, insterment cluster, everything electical starts to strob on and off. I already put a new rectifier in it but no help. I know micanical stuff not electial. A friend said try cleaning the stator. Is it behind the pull starter. thanx

Default I need help with electical problem

My 600 sportsman was doing the same thing. Old Polaris tech told me to check the black sealed pouches in the wiring harness under the hood. The relays in these pouches were rotted any very badly rusted. Replaced them and eveything works fine. Check to see if you have these so called 'sealed' pouches, cut them open and have a look.

If you trace problem down to thermal fuses in the plastic covers and corroded as posted above, replacement fuses comes with sealed pouch and wires on both sides that you just splice back in.
