Thanks for the clarification. Since polaris oil is easily available to me I will stick with it, but it's nice to know there are other oils out there if I ever get into a bind, like out of town or something. Thanks again!</end quote></div>

The only thing I will say is I don't know who makes the Polaris oil..which is why I prefer Amsoil,or even Mobil1. There is just no data that I have seen to show Polaris oil is a top notch fully synthetic lubricant....
For all we know we are paying $10 a quart for $2 syn blend oil...
If it makes yu sleep better use the Polaris oil,it may be the "good" stuff. I just can't swear to it. And since it isn't real easy to get for me it makes the choice real easy. I'll use what I know to be the "good" stuff.
Without some more info on the Polaris stuff I'd probably not use it even if it was easy to get.
I'm sure it is good stuff, but is it equivelent to stuff that cost the same, like AMSOIL? I bet not.

LOL,yeah.
I guess we have to look at what is technically synthetic huh? I am no Chemical Engineer, but I did go to high school with one..guess who he works for..yep Mobil.
That sounds like one of those Holiday Inn Express commercials doesn't it?

Exactly... and from one batch to the next, you don't know who's supplying Polaris, and what they are supply them with... cheapest bidder maybe? LOL

For me, this is a no-brainer... I know what I'm getting with AMSOIL.
