Default Tire Chain

Searched the forum - but couldn't find any reccomendations for tire chains.

Anybody have any reccomendations for a tire chain and place to purchase? I found one article online and it reccomended a "2-link spacing v-bar" instead of the standard "4-link spacing v-bar". The difference is twice as many rows of chains on the 2-link (Also twice a much weight).

The dealer here stocks tire chains, but I'm not sure what type they are.

4 link runs chains across every 4 links, 2 links is every 2 links. 2 Link has more bite as there ist wice the chains, but twice asheavy and twice as expensive. VBar is just short pieces of rod bent in V's welded to the crosschains, makes for more biting edges. Its all a pric epoint to how much traction you want.

They make a awsome difference in plowing snow. I seen a Honda 300 Fourtrax 2wd with chains push snow really well I could imange what they do for a 4x4.
