XP 550 Stock Rim's @ Swamplites
Ok pep's i just finshed installing 27 X 9 & 11 X 14 Swamplites on my xp rims.
The ***** on the rear are very close to the stabalizer ends 1/4 on one side 1/16 (ouch ) on the other.
I guess i'm going to have to bend the stabalizer in a bit for more clearance.
These tires are about 2.5 centimeters (1 1/2 inches) taller than the slicks, looks good.
Havent had a chance to ride yet but to day i'll take it out and get some pick's.
And gas today in town is at 75.8 cents a liter, boy i wish i money left over to fill my chev pick up and caravn.
Has any body else changed over tires on the stock rims aswell? what kind and fitment?

You are the first I know of....that has been the million dollar question..will 11's fit in the back. I bet this threat will get some good traffic.
As for bending the sway bar that might be fun, probably pretty stout piece. It can be done obviously with the right tools. Also I wonder how that will affect the links and bushings? Maybe not an issue since it shouldn't take much.
Edit-just looked sway bar is hollow. I would have thought it would be solid...there i go thiking like it is an automobile.

I went for a short ride with the new Swamp lites and everything is A OK no rubbing issue's not as smooth as the stock slick's on the pavement but there new and it's cold out -4 C .
They grip very well in what little dirt and snow i travelled in.
here's the pic if it works. the last one is with my alarm system on.

Cool! Just keep an eye on them to make sure the wheel/tire/suspension doesn't flex on rougher or side sloped terrain and cause the tire to rub. Probably won't be an issue though.
They aren't going to be as smooth on pavement at low speeds as the street tires(lol) were. With XTRs mine feels like it is taking steps(rough) at real low speeds on pavement, up above about 10 mph they smooth out well. Off road, even on hard stuff they are real smooth even at low speeds.
Nice alarm.

I'm just waiting for my mudlite XTR's to arrive and they will be going on the stock rims. I measured between the bar and the stock tire and there was an 1 1/4 space so I'm not expecting any problems. It should only be a 1/2 inch per side wider. The suspension moves back and up doesn't it? It pretty stiff to get it to move while your watching it.
