I'm working on a Off Road Buggy and want to install an automatic transmission in it and I like the way that the polaris works. I plan on putting a 440-500cc Snowmobile engine and I want to have reverse and low gear for pulling a trailer.

Did you see if any local dealers had a parts machine? That's where I would start looking. The new clutch is something like in the high $300 range (both pulleys & guts new). No idea about the hi/lo/reverse transmission.

I would think finding an old polaris for sale would be the cheapest way
