PEOPLE have used kerosene/diesel to flush the water from cases.

I haven't tried it myself.

Default NEED HELP

I hear its the best way to clean the system and it protects all the seals and gaskets
and is good to do for these sorts of issues.

There is alot of posting on the same issues just search the threads, thats where I learned about
it, again never done myself though!

Default NEED HELP

I may have missed a comment or 2 aobut riding this thing but if you haven'y been in water thenit most likely came from internal. If it hass been sitting the waterpump seal could be bad. I have replaced the oil and water pump seals in 400's on several occasions. The weap hole can get stopped up and the coolant can push by the oil seal and go into the counterbalance.

where are these located and how do you go about changing these out.
