Default High-Altitude riding - 600 twin sportsman

Stoopidbot- That's from 2000, now it's anyone riding in Colorado must have a permit bought in Colorado no matter if you have any type of permit from any other state. You can buy them from the state Park Service Offices or on line before you get here. They are good for the year and expire Dec. 31. If you are from out of state you do not get a notice of renewal the next year. I had not been told of this until I read the New Rules in the Hunting Brochure this summer. Because Colorado changed the rules and does not honor other states permits I must buy a Utah permit for $30 each ATV each year along with 2 for Co.

Same here, if forward speed is low, the cvt will put the rpm where it is required. Never had to rejet and don't even consider clutching. Performance falls off 3% per 1000 ft of Altitude increase.
