Man, that is awesome!. I will be doing that to my 700. I have mudlite tires on the front and they rub all the time. Couple of questions though.
- What diameter pluming tube is that?
- What kind of washer is that? (What size and where to get it. part# if you have one.)

lol. i did the same idea and it cost me less then $5.00 at the local hard ware store w/ alot less work using the cpvc pipe and fitting . looks good though for sure and much cheaper then buying new springs.

Hey Quad 4 how is the lift working out? This is exactly what I need to do my 06 sportsman. Do you happen to have the part numbers for the two washers? I have found my dealer up here pretty useless and the part number would help alot.
Thanks
Matt

Can the pics be sent to me, all I see are red X's... and I want to add height for winter driving in snow. I'm so tired of getting stuck and at my age I don't have the energy to get un-stuck more than 1 time...

Quad 4
Nice lift. Not sure how the pucks will stand up.
Here's my 2006 Sportsman lift.
Used 2" inside dia. pipe and had 3 pieces of 1/2 square stock wielded on.
Helps to have a friend who can wield, especially for free (:-).
Pipe is cut 1 1/4" long.
Had to grind out about 1/8" of the inside of the 1/2 square stock to make it fit
around the outside of the stock springs.
This really helped out the front / \ tires.
Rides a little stiffer, but steers better and has better ground clearance.
I measured from the ground to the fender at the tire hub and gained about 2 1/4"
Paid about $4.65 at the scrap metal yard for the pipe.
4J's post about Polaris HD Front Springs Installed has great directions and Pic's.
Look on the SEARCH.
Here's a couple of Pics.

TO EACH HIS OWN, I reckon?
But for me I think just adding HD Springs to the front Vs. all the welding, drilling etc. is a much more robust way to go unless you are really really trying to save $45 dollars and a 1/4 increase pass 2" in the front. - IMO
My only complaint here is compensating for the rear setup to better center the quad. Anyone dones these things to the rear? And what were your results?
Thanks,
R'
