Hey guys,
I'm having some trouble getting a mount for my plow. I can't load the wheeler and the plow up and get it to a Polaris shop because my trailer isn't big enough for the wheeler and the plow. I have contacted 2 different shops in my area looking for some pointers but I can't find anything concrete. So I have attached some photos of my plow in hopes that someone may be able to hammer down which model plow it is.

It is the universal push tube type. It is not the glacier.

Anybody know where I might be able to pick up a mount for this bad boy? I just called the dealership and they said that they don't have anything that would fit it. The plow came off an 01/02 Sportsman 500 so the plate I have won't mount onto my 06 450...

That looks exactly like my Eagle/Tusk brand tube runners.You can get the mounts just about anywhere.Try Rocky Mountain.Any other questions feel free to ask.

I would measure between the two ears and make some calls.I don't know if the different manufactures use various widths.Come to think of it I have two lower mounts it measures at the plate 14 1/4" and over the pins 15 7/8".The pin is 5/8" diameter.This is for Eagle/Tusk brand.

 

I agree with triplggg, that looks like American Manufacturing Eagle/Tusk plow. Some larger, better quality photo's of the swivel would help to confirm. If it is, then you need mounting plate 2405. I found the best deal at Rocky Mountain ATV. They sell it as Tusk but same thing. I verified this with American Manufacturing before I bought mine two weeks ago. According to American Manufacturing's application chart, the 2405 mount fits every 500 sportsman from 1998 through 2008. So, the mount you have should fit your 06 450 if it came off of an 01/02 SP 500. Here is a link to their site. This should help you determine if you have an American Manufacturing plow.

Measure the inside width of your mounting points. If they are 14 1/4" then the 2405 mounting plate should work even if it is not an American Eagle/Tusk plow. I say this because the mounting brackets are identical so as long as they are the correct width, they will work.

no not cycle country... not moose... i currently own a moose.. and had a cycle country... the bars are not V'd outwards on any of them plows... moreless straight back
