warning sticker removal
#31
Unless you have painted plastic they are NOT clear coated over.
I used a hair dryer to remove the stickers on both of my machines;it was a pain but they'll come off. I then used gasoline to remove the remaining goo. The gas left a slight haze on the red machine but it's much less noticable than the stickers! Pledge furniture polish or mud does a good job of hiding the haze. On my quad (the camo one) you can't tell that there where ever any stickers there.
For the record I think the warning stickers are a joke! I kinda feel that if I pay 7 grand for a quad I'll ride double if I want....after all I need someone to hold my beer....LOL!

Even with painted plastic I have yet to see a painted Polaris that has the stickers cleared over...

I had the same problem as hddoperator. My stickers came off pretty easily, but after cleaning up the leftover adhesive with goo gone I have damaged the plastic. It left a distinct static haze. I have removed three or four now and have had the same problem every time. It might be the black color that makes it harder?
