Polaris scrambler 500 mods???
#1
First i was wondering how fast your scrambler 500 is? Mine is a stcok 08 with a K&N and does about 61 mph on gps. I was wanting to add a clutch kit so the transmisson engages quicker but i heard you lose top end with that? So i was wondering if anyone had a clutch kit pipe and rejeted how fast is it?

talk to rick ritter is the first thing people will say on here, i agree. he has a stage one kit, which is a pipe, jets, filter, airbox vents, and clutching.

i believe you can customize clutching to engage how you wants, topend, lowend or midrange.
im not sure though. i used to own a 250 trailblazer.

Check out the mods I have on mine.It is decently quick and still tops out in the mid 60s.You arent goint to get much more topend out of one due to the limited gearing to keep the 4x4 working properly.

I would agree with 4stroke on talking with Rick Ritter, he did a stage one kit for my 300 Xplorer and is was great, I know on the 500 he will most likely line you up HPD stuff, their pipe and clutch kit. That's the way I am going on my 05.

How much do you want to spend? You can get the 600 or 628cc big bore kit from these guys.http://www.fourstroketech.net/
Look under engine products.

Check over here www.GEN3USA.com site that is dedicated to Scramblers.
Actually like I said earlier the way mine is set up is great and doesnt cost a fortune to do.
