I have a 98 500 and it will die after about 2 miles. Plug gets fouled out. If I clean the plug and allowing it to sit for about an hour, will restart and run again for about 2 miles. Anyone have any ideas.

Too rich?
Mine had an issue recently where the floats in the carb were stuck down, which caused a constant rich condition. Mine never quit running, but it was EXTREMELY rich and would actually blow gas up through the intake, filling the air box. The repair shop was surprised it actually would keep running. So you might want to have the carb checked out.
