here's a link to the 07 700 service manual, which has the codes in it

I don't believe they changed from 05 to 07, but someone correct me if I'm wrong

if you go to polarisindustries.com go under rider's guide and then manuals and parts
you can download the owners manual

I downloaded the owners manual but all I see is the diagnostic mode. That only gives me like 6 different things. Nothing blinks.

In my service manual there is a "Diagnostic Mode", then on the next page there is an "EFI Diagnostic Mode".. Which one are you performing?

If your looking to see if your quad is sending any codes you have to do the efi diagnostic mode.. Put the machine in park and turn the key on and off 3 times within five seconds and leave the key on on the third turn...You'll see "WAIT" appear in the cluster then if there's any codes they will appear...."END" will appear once all the codes have been displayed.........

That may be the problem. My atv is not EFI. I am assuming that the carb. models dont have that feature?
