Default Supposed To Have ADC, But Don't

Yesterday was the first time in a year and a half I used the ADC (almost forgot I had it!).....and I like it!

Before I clicked it on, the tail-end was fish tailing down the steep snow covered trails. A real pita.

Then it occured to me that I have that little slide-button on the right handlebar! LOL!

Heck, let's give it a try!

Totally different handling ATV now! No white knuckles! LOL!

What's it's value? I find it to be a very nice safety item with 2 passengers on board!

I liked my ADC on my 08 800. went down some hills that i didnt really need it, but it just crept down them, didnt even need brakes. nice feature to be able to turn off and on. i believe in 07 it didnt not have an on off switch as someone mentioned above.

No pump then you are correct no ADC. Looking at the part breakdown it looks like pretty much everything but ADC was put on non-deluxe machines...
From what I gather, again just from looking at the parts useage on different models...about the only way to tell by looking is the lack of ADC and the color of the dual exhaust, the deluxe duals are silver, non-deluxes are black..

I met a guy down in Kentucky, he had a touring, and he said once he got off while climbing a steep hill to move a tree branch, and forgot to put it in park and it just sat there

Just an adc story I thought I'd share

Its sweet in the snow, in awd it drags the tires, with the adc on it stops with all 4 wheels, its cool.

I forgot that someone mentioned in another thread there was no switch on one particular model. I didn't know that's the one. My bad for not being at least 90% sure. I've never even seen one like that, but the dealer should have known anyway.

The first ADC was on 2007 Deluxe models and had no switch to turn it off..The only way to disable it was to turn your all wheel drive switch off (aka four wheel drive switch) I currently own one of those...

You know, up until a couple years ago I pretty much knew what was on every Polaris for several years. I read the catalog from cover to cover and used to go to the dealer a lot. After I got my '06 I didn't look at at the '07s much and the catalog didn't mention if there was a switch to turn the ADC on and off. When I got an '08 I thought they were the same.
