Ok guys I have no spark it started with losing power and backfiring reverse overdrive switch disconnected and still no spark it has been doing this for days now sometimes a spark sometimes no spark intermittent problem,
it only started having problems when the extreme cold weather started
as I am new to ATVs in general I have checked the Cap and changed the spark plug, I am now wondering is there a check with a multimeter to check coil for ohms and or a check I can do on the CDI
