Is that why all these companies popped up making winches.....Gorilla, venom, Viper?????? everyone wants a deal.....

The 2500 lb winches of any brand are not up to par with the bigger 3000 and 3500 winches by either Polaris, Warn, or Ramsey. The only one I would choose over the Polaris 3500, is the Warn 3.0XT. Only because I had a Warn 3.0S (same one) on my brute and it never had a problem.

My winch says both (Same as Pic) "Polaris and Warn" right on it, and its a paper weight now also.

Polaris winches such but warns do not?

Explain this .

I never looked into it yet, it just quit and I never was even using it at the time. I was told to look to see if its a bad solenoid first before I remove the winch and toss it.

I would still take my XT2.5 over another brand even if its a bigger 3000 or 3500lbs winch though the Warn XT3.0 would be nice, it is not needed for a 600lbs quad as it would be money wasted for the most part the only advantage I would would see in owning it is the remote winch controll, Though I can buy that as an accessorie for the 2.5 if I need it that bad!

What happened to it? Looks brand new yet.

I personally know a few people who went from a Warn to a Polaris winch.

For being Polaris owners, there sure are enough people here ready to bash them any chance they get.</end quote></div>

I don't see anyone here "bashing every chance they get". I only see guys complaining about a continuing problem that should have been fixed by Polaris long ago.As someone else said...bad business!

I bought a Gorilla 3000 winch and love it. It's been on my bike for two years and haven't had a lick of trouble with it. It even sat underwater for a night when I couldn't get my bike out and worked fine. Sorry to hear about your winch I know that's a pain in the a$$.

i beleave you get what you pay for in the warn winch. have had a few of them w/ zero issues. like any other company polaris tried to cheap out an added feature like the "polaris winch", not to be confused w/ the warn winch made for polaris(has both names on it) which is still made by warn but polaris payed to have thier name on it.
