i looked at this. but i didnt reply. but ill add my 2 cents. the swamp lites look like a nice tire. but guess it depends on what you want to spend. if it was me id say get the swamp lites. iv had 489 tires on my old wheeler. put on 6000 mile before changing them. on my new wheeler i have 2 sets of tires. pxt and 489s. the reason i got the 489s was becuse it seemed the pxt were chiping. but seems like a good agressive tread. what you plan on driving though/on?

i put a set of mudlites on my scrambler, they work great in mud, snow, water etc. You need to consider what type of riding you will be doing, i noticed yours was a 2X4 so i am assuming you do a lot of trail riding, if that is true the stock 489's are a great tire.

I love the 489s run them with no problems and they handle great.

The last time I was at the dealership they had some mudlites for around 85 bucks, I'm not sure what the swamp lites run. I would probably save up some money and just go for the swamp lites. I did like the stock tires but they seemed to puncture easy. But then again for a hundred bucks, I would probably buy them too for a back up. I would be doing the same thing as you wvu, on here asking for advice.

On another note, where are you at? From your name I am guessing Morgantown. I'm about 16 miles from Uniontown. We used to ride in Smithfield, Fairchance area right off of Rt. 43. There are some slags dumps, and other place to ride there. I'm not sure if people still do, but I'm guessing they do cause the paths coming down the hills to the highway are wore down to mud. My first time riding there my 250x jumped the chain and a guy on a bike all dressed up in Moto X gear and his buddy looking the same way only on a quad come over to help me out. They are riding bikes that look like they cost more than my Truck. They take off their helmets and it's Barry Hawk, and his dad. How cool is that. I can honestly say, 2 racing legends wrenched on my quad. They were really cool, and it topped off the day.
