I have a 98 Polaris 400L sport and i want to change the reeds on the machine. I have a HPD trail pipe and a HPD performance clutch kit. I heard that delta force reeds were good and also boyensen reeds are good are there any other brands that are better or is just a preference of brands. also how hard is it to replace the reeds. Thanks for any advice and help.

Go for the V-Force II Reed valve. I have it and noticed the difference right off the bat. I am the worst when it comes to mecanics and upon taking apart my engine I noticed how easy it is to get the reed valve out. About 6 screws. I think the carb has to be moved out of the way too...

I have a 99 Sport 400. I installed the Delta V Force reeds. I was amazed at the difference. The whole powerband was increased, and it seems to run smoother as well.
