Track Kit...

Hey!! Own Risk.
What kind of a difference do these tracks make on the ride.Smoother,Softer??
Just curious.
My 05 Sport 400 has a real nice ride to it but I think the tracks would smooth out crossing rutted/frozen tracks on a lake or in the woods.

MM 51,
I rarely ride the groomed or broken trails since I put this track kit on. The ride on a trail that has been broken by Atvs is the worst if it is frozen, then the tracks try to follow the ruts made by the first Atv, but if the snow is still soft then it kind of grooms the trail a little wider and a little harder. It makes a nice trail for Atvs trying to follow you! As for the lakes and ice it also handles well there as I travelled across the bare ice {wind blew all the snow off} dragging five large logs and it didn't want to spin once. As for frozen ruts on the ice it may be a little rougher, but if it is, it is not by much. I can't say anything bad about these yet as I have put them through many tests that I know my tires would never pass and as for flotation it reminds me of a light-weight long track snowmobile only easier to handle. I don't travel on the frozen trails unless I have broken them in as this track kit is about 55" wide which is about 8" wider track than the average wheel track. I definitely wont keep them on for the summer as where I travel there is alot of sharp shale and I feel that I could easily rip a track on these sharp rocks. I hope this answers your questions, Follow @own risk!
