Default Need help figuring out what plow I have!

I bought my 04 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. last year and this plow came with it. It came off a 2000 Sportsman 500 and there is no description anywhere on it to figure out what kind of plow it is. So therefore I can't figure out what kind of mount to order for it for my 04. Any help figuring out what kind of plow it is would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but the rear quick mounts still don't look quite the same, unless maybe it's just an older model?

That looks like the same plow I have on my 2001 Sportsman. If it is, it is a Polaris plow. The push tubes come to about the middle of the footwells and attach to a couple of pins that are on the attachment plate. That silver plate swings up and the hole goes over the pin and locks it in place.

This was one of the 2 designs Polaris had before they came out with the Glacier plow. The other design had the push tubes come all the way to the rear of the machine.

I checked on the Polaris website, and they still list this plow for the 2001 sportsman so you may luck out and be able to get the attachment plate. Incidently, putting this plate on is a real pain the first time. I take mine off every Spring and reinstall in in the Fall so I am getting pretty good at it.

Thanks Maine Sportsman, I think you're right after looking at the picture on Polaris' website. I couldn't find the mounting plates on there so I'm hoping I can still order one!

Otherwise, eBay may have one that fits.

Good Luck,
