If not leaking from pump oil lines,in from tank or small line out to intake, could be seeping from o-ring at back of pump that seals off counter balancer area that is supposed to have only about 75cc's of oil,but lubricates oil pump drive gear also. You might check to see if counter balancer might be contaminated with coolant (water pump seals bad) that might be source of seeping? Just a thought. Check oil pump body also for seeping.

ok good info ,this leak is injection oil though so maybe the pump itself is leaking at the rear I dont know guess i will have to pull it off as it is a substantial leak,I just got this bike and went over it, the guy

i got it from said it did leak oil untill there was only half a tank left ,so I thoght it to be just a line and I have changed the main line, the intake oil line is still original but appears ok ,and no oil accumalates in the pump box so I will have to look futher any other info would be great thanks again OLD POLARIS TECH

I found the problem ,I took the pump off and the little acess panel on the pump had a pinched oring probally from the factory but deteriorated enough to start leaking, what is the pressure out of the pump under normal operating ?any idea and also just wanted to make sure that when the cable to the pump breaks that the pump goes to a min flow condition,my cable is ever so slightly frayed and the spring on the pump a bit rusty and I havent made up my mind whether or not to change them, just wanted to post my progress thanks again

i dont think it builds up enough pressure to actually measure it. the easiest way to check it tho is to take the banjo nut off the side of the motor and put a 40:1 gas mix in the tank. fire the machine up and manually advance the oil pump. should have a squirt of oil every few seconds coming out of the banjo nut
