Default Xp 850 still having brake issues

So I pulled the tire off the front left and cleaned all the mud off the caliper and rotor, put the wheel back on and tried it out. The right front wheel will lock up as it is supposed to while the left front just grinds and vibrates. Callled my dealer and they said they may can fix it under warranty. If not anyone have an idea of what might be wrong?

Did you try bleeding the brakes?
Bleed them till the fuild is clear and don't let the master run dry as you bleed r breaks

Are the pads worn the same on the left as they are on the right?

If it were me, I would jack up the front end, remove the tire, gently compress the caliper, and slowly spin that wheel and see if the rotor is warped. May have been warped from the factory.

Dealer said both sides were metal on metal and rotors were grooved 170$ just in parts for pads and new rotors.... why would my pads be gone after 300 miles? And I didn't ride around with the parking brake on .. that was their first guess .

My first guess would be that the OEM spec from Polaris is leaving too much space between the pads and the rotors. As soon as some dirt or small rocks get in there and you apply the brakes... the rotors are grooved. However, that's just a guess.

That is a complete new machine.....Should have bought extended warranty.
Why I bought the 08 800 a few days ago.
Shoulds like the calpiers are freezing up causing all that wear on the front breaks.
My sales lit says they are using new dual a-arm front suspension.
I would call polaris and see if they can't make it right.
I had a 97 500ho and a 2003 700ho and never had a break problem or any problem as that goes.
Seems like it takes them 2 years to get the kinks outa new machines.

I have a 2 year warranty and pads are "wear and tear" ... rotors because of the pads.

That's what I was afraid of and why I asked about pad wear..but I thought uyou might have had a sticking caliper on one side.
Dave actually my pads are pretty tight on the disk...not sure why they wore so quick. I have about 200 miles on mine and only have about .030 cumlative pad wear(ie inner and outer) so about .015 per pad...and I've been failry hard on the brakes.
They aren't real thick to start with..maybe .200? For info the wear limit thickness is .040..
