Ya, polaris is normally pretty quick to react to things that people want and don't want. I suspect the sabertooth fang styling will be short lived.

 

CC1999, what is the part number for those hand guards you have on there?? They look cool.

 

My proplem is the mid size XP550 has a Big Bore price. The M.S.R.P. for a Suzuki 750 King KQ is close to the same and a Sportsman 800 is just $500 more, both ATVs have much much more power than the XP550.

 

Part number on the hand guards is 2875709-177 They fit a lot of the Polaris models, it was the same part that my X2 used.

TLC I am not a brand loyalist so I am sure I will catch some flack for saying this in a polaris forum, but I am more partial to the new 09 KQ750 with EPS vs the Polaris sp800. I am pretty familar with the 700KQs and the new larger motor and the addition of EPS, I think will make one heck of a good trail quad. Its actually my second pic for top quads for 2009. Second only to the Poalaris 850 EPS. If power is not an issue then the 550 XP is really a top notch quad.
