Hey Guys,
I recently replaced left hub strut on my 94 Sportsman. My current problem is when the AWD switch is pressed the AWD light randomly turns on and off while in High. When it is shifted to low the AWD light stays constantly lit. I had burnt oil and metal grindings in the old hub before I replaced the strut, should I replace the bearings and hub also? Would messed up bearings cause this?

Wear in shifter box internals and switch common problem when in hi range and awd on on the 94 model! Usually works good in low range which is not used as often! Strut work would have no effect on this.

 

Looks like I will be looking for a new shifter switch.
