Has anyone put a Polaris Snowmobile Engine in a Polaris ATV?

I was wondering if any one has any information on what it takes to put a snowmobile engine into any Polaris Atv to up the available hp.

There's a fellow in here called 800twin, and he's gotta TBlazer w/ a 800 twin(hence the name)snowsled motor. Hopefully he'll come across this post and fill ya in.....

A twin will bolt right in,problem is there is not enough room for a chaincase/transmission(the stock trans would never hold up) so you don't have reverse, second problem is since there is no trans you have no gear reduction so you have to run a rather large sprocket in the rear(mine is 72 tooth for 4.10 gear ratio with 22" tires)thats an 18" diameter sprocket not a problem for drag racing but can get expensive trail riding which brings up the third problem to much power for trail riding. You could stretch the frame to include a chaincase but I wanted mine to look like a real factory atv.
