70???? geez. then we'd be done in just a few hrs. i just want to go on a nice drive. see the sights, and go on the off trail trails. 7am-9pm or so should be enough time...

Chuck, I haven't done that many miles in one day, you might want to prep yourself for about half those miles, too many offshoots to explore!!

How about meeting somewhere, pick a direction, and drive by the clock. When reach a certain time, you turn around and go back. Then we won't be concerned about reaching some landmark by a certain time. That's what I do for bicycle rides.

but i wanna go the whole way!!!!!! but if its only 150 mile trail one way that wont be so bad. but i supose thats a plan. or just drive one direction. the on the way back take the off track trails then least wed know how long it took to go one direction. and could figure out how much time we have to play. but at 40mph on a 150mile or so trail leaving at 7am or so. sould be to the end by 11am that gives about 8 to play on the off trails.

The whole trail would be a great ride and should be the plan for those who have the time and desire to ride the whole distance. I don't want discourage those who want to ride part of the distance and turn around.
