Dalton clutch spring installation
#1
All,
This has been a busy weekend! I posted some pics of how
I changed out my Polaris stock clutch spring with the new
new Dalton Orange-blue spring to add a little power to my
setup with my new Mudlites XTRs 27".
Pretty easy install, however I am yet to really try it out!

told you it was fairly easy to do. although i forgot to mention(sorry about that) that you need to line up the X on the cover to the clucth, but i see you marked it your self. good job. you will see the differnce when you ride it a little.

DPPS - O/BL Oversized Tires
Suggested list price $32.50
The stock 800 EFI comes with 26" tires. If you choose to switch to heavier, more aggressive 26" w/10" wide fronts and most 27" tires, the 800 will perform better by simply adding our Orange/ blue (part # DPPS-O/BL) primary spring. For all 28" & up tires use complete kit (Part# DP 800EXT) - We simply prefer to not sell you more than what you need.
i do beleave he bought his(like i did mine) thru rick ritter @ http://www.rittercycle.com/

Hey thanks again Stendori for the help. Yea it was pretty easy the kicker was more of getting the cover and intake all back
on aligned etc. Funny isn't it? Yes, I called Rick Ritter and purchased thru him. I would highly recommend it to all looking to do it. Rick was very helpful on the phone answering questions etc. I can't wait to take it out on the trail next week!

Hey, just wondering how this turned out for you? Where do you notice a difference? I'm looking to get some more power from a stop and more mid range. I don't really see the need for top end. Would this be my best bet? I have basically a twin to your machine.
