Default Idle problems

I have a 94' 300 2x4, and once I get her started (on choke) then let her off of choke she will start reving up until I put the choke back on. What can I check to calm her down after I take off the choke?

sounds like you have an air leak, or check the cable to make sure its not adjusted too high like pulling the throttle and the idle adjustment is not too high.

I also seem to have a problem with it idling after she warms up. It doesn't matter if I am in gear or not, but if I don't keep on the throttle the rig will die. Then one pull on the cord and she is running again. < what could cause this?

i still would try to rule out an air leak. have you taken the carb apaprt to clean it? have you changed the air settings?

I have taken the carb out and apart. I can only discribe it as "Mint". Does anyone know what the factory setting might be for the carb screws? I have yet to find it online and I don't have a book either.
