i have 2001 500 scrambler has fuel in float bowl but is not going through to the clinder
any ideas as to what could cause this any info is greatly appreciated.

 

does it have any compression, or vacume. is the carb dirty and all the passages dirty and blocked? try taking the air filter off and putting your hand over the carb intake and try cranking the engine to see if it has any suction(which would act as a choke sucking the gas into the cyclinder) just an idea

 

Check the valve settings should be .006

 

valves compression all good i'm getting fuel to carb but not from carb to cylinder spark is good had to adjust etc switch to get the spark but now is good i've never ran across this situation and am totaly confusued any other ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated and i thankful fro the responses allready gotten again thanks

 

check intake boot for good seal and no cracks
