Th 4wheel on my 99 Sportsman only works in drive and not reverse. When the AWD light is on and in drive the front wheels pull like they should and when I shift to reverse the AWD light goes out and the front wheels don't do anything.
Anybody got any ideas?

 

are you pushing thr yellow override button on the left handlebar side?? it needs to be pushed in to have awd in reverse.

 

Yeh I'm using the override button and nothing's happening. I'm going to check the wiring going to the override switch.

 

make sure the trans switch is good as well. does the override work in reverse right now the way its suppose too? check for wire corrsion if the override isnt working right or even maybe the override box is junk. couple of ideas
