The complaint,if made, needs to go to the CPSC,they have juristiction on ATVs.

Don't worry, you won't be the first to file about this.

Default poaris 850 XP nuclear sunset

I bent my lower control arm also! They would not cover the repairs! did alot of research, found polaris originaly had a gusset, half way up the a- arm, but tried to save a few bucks on each machine and removed gusset!!!!! so one of their engineers screwed up!! I happened to get ahold of the pre change control arms and installed them! the gussets appear to make the a-arms so much stronger! I still think Polaris owes me! and if they dont make it right, next time I'll go back to YAMAHA!!
P.S. only had 18 miles on bike when it happened,I hit a furrow in a field when slightly turning buckeled a-arm tire was then leaning 45* furrow was maybe 8" deep.

Yeah they removed the gusset on later run machines...who knows why...one school of thought was it was to make the A-arm the weak link, kind of a crumple zone...another school of thought is that the newer A-arms are cheaper,to save some money. I think alot of the later run 09/10 changes can be looked at as cost saving changes....depending on point of view. Most people expect changes to make a new machine better...not the other way around.
