So, I went to change the oil on my front drive gear case last night, and the Clymer manual for a 2000 Scrambler says that it takes 473cc or 16 o.z. of the synthetic gear case oil.
I measured out 16 oz, but it seems after 8oz it starts to come out the fill hole.
Can anyone comment here, how much oil goes in there, or an easier way to get the 16 oz in there?
Thanks....

IMO there's no real need to measure out your oil , do as you did and fill it to the hole and reinstall the plug . Even the manuals say fill until the fluid comes out the whole and reinstall plug . I use a bottle pump and as soon as the fluid starts running out I cap and I'm done no need to make things more complicated than they are were not fueling the space shuttle
