What do you mean by sitting up ? Carb is clean, air filter is new. It idles and runs okay for a short while, but starts to die when throttle is opened, flipping choke lever too first position helps it to keep going.

Flipping the choke open a little to make it run better is usually a pretty good sign it's starving/lean on fuel. Sounds like it's still either carb related, the main jet's partially stopped up, the needle valve sticking or even leaking crank seals or a cracked air box neck can cause a lean running condition. Another thing I'd do is a compression check. If compression is low,(100 psi or lower) when it gets hot rings can loose their seal against the cylinder walls and run crappy.

Default Trailboss carb problem

Thanks for the tip, would never have looked for leaking rubber connector.
I hope this is the answer, gotta get her going before the snow flies.
Thanks from Mudder77
