Hey codeman~
It might sound wrong, but your Scrambler will get better mileage than your Trailblazer! If you are cruising along at 30-35, the 400 engine doesn't have to work nearly as hard as the 250 engine. Gas Mileage is a big factor on many of the rides I go on. Especially if it is a new trail system and we are uncertain of where we can get gas. On machines with the 250 engine, I have seen gas mileage from 14-19 mpg. The 400's have gotten from 19-26 mpg. You will probably see closer to 19 mpg with your new Scrambler because it is a sportier machine than the Explorer and tends to be ridden a little harder. The machine that shocked me was an 89' Yamaha Breeze I started on. The "worst" mileage I ever got with it was about 45 mpg. The best was 58 mpg!!! That gives the little 125cc Breeze better range than any Polaris!!
