but can you get one for that price - I can only find atv trailers for $1600 - I can get two of the above ones for the same price of an aluminum one.

I am surprised no one has any experience with Tractor supply trailers

I looked at them, but I opted to go with a Triton. Just better quality and reliablity for the long run. I think I paid $1000 or $1100 for mine. It hauls 1 or 2 (side loaded) with no problems at all.

I bought a steel with wooden deck rated at 3000 lbs for $500

I found a beautiful aluminum "Sled Bed" for $700 on Craig's List. The guy paid $1800 one year earlier. I guess he had to get rid of it. I kinda felt bad offering him only $700, but he didn't bargain with me, so I took it.

My first trailer was from TSC it was 4x8 tilt bed w/ 6"angle iron sides.
I put removeable bunks on it to haul my jet ski, I used the tilt bed for the quad, I built 4' sides and a tail gate for hauling trash and brush to the dump, i used it to haul fire wood. It was a great trailer for 13 years and 1,000's of miles. Then I found a side load drive on drive off alu 2 place trailer on craigs list for $700 and paid $550. The night I brought the new trailer home I listed the old TSC trailer and sold it in 3 hours for $400.
Just remember you will always want more room than you think you need. It is nice to be able to take a friend. now I wish I had a 3 or 4 place trailer.
I am working on hooking a single to my double.

What do you think? Any other suggestions for about the same price.

I bought a 6'X10' for my X2. I have a 60" plow and it fits nicely length and width. Only complaint I have is the cheap black paint on the trailer. After using it last winter there is rust everywhere. BUT you get what u pay for! ($1,250 brand new)

Sand blast the thing and paint on liquid rhino liner.

took some time looking for a trailer for my 800 Sportsman. I've always had the idea the mesh floor, single tongue trailers are for lawn mowers. I don't know where you live, but I found a new 5X8 wood floor, A-frame tongue with 15" wheels at a farm supply south of St. Louis for $800 AND they gave me an aluminum tongue box for free! I'm doing some custom work on it and will post pics when I get it done. Look around for a little. The 4' wide is pretty tight for your wheeler, only an inch clearance on each side. Also, with the mesh floor, all the road grime comes through the mesh all over your quad. Even though the first thing I do when I ride is look for the biggest mud hole I can find, I still want it to look good when I get there.
