Default 05 sportsman 500 EFI Issue

six months after I bought this bike I have been having trouble to keep the bike running. When the bike warms up it does not want to idle and it back fires. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the spark plugs and re-adjusted the idle worked great until I got the bike good and hot again and it started again. The wierd part is that it start off as a little problem and the more times I use the bike it gets worse, like right now I cant even ride it it is so bad. I then had done some research myself and was told that it was the MAP sensor. Cool spent a $100.00 bucks and replaced it bike worked like new!! (was very happy) UNTIL I went for a good long right and made the bike work pretty hard I got one big backfire and that was it same old crap over again.

They were saying that polaris hade revamped the MAP sensor because if this issue but the sensor I got looked identical to the one I pulled out same numbers on it and all.

Please does anyone have any answers to this or have been through this.

Thank you

Usually not the sensors that go out, just the harness wires to the sensors. Repair kits are available

Lot of times it WONT show a code when wire in a harness is faulty! It will just run good sometimes and crappy at other times. Dont have the numbers in front of me but I think # 2876315 for the sensor repair kit. I ought to know it by heart by now,but I dont!
