Question Up Hill Losing Power

I have a 07 450 sp, It is bogging bad up hills and sometimes when going in a tight circle. And i seem to have lost at the least 10 mph at top speed? Any ideas or tips or anything! Thank you in advance

have you burned the belt, could be the secondary clutch buttons hanging up and worn out.

MNpinetree -

When I cleaned the carb and put in a new plug, WOW! She screams, we had it cutting it out here and there (thought the wife just didn't know how to drive it, LOL) then after sitting, spitting, spluttering and kunking out, would NOT start.

I tell ya when you clean the carb and change the plug, it does great, should do each season as with OIL Changes IMO!

I had a similar problem. When we checked the plug for spark it was arcing off the side. Cut 1/2 off the plug wire put it back in the cap end and it runs fine.
